It has been a great summer and it is truly fabulous to be able to see art IRL (in real life) again! Pieces from my Enclosure Act series have sold over the summer, and also been exhibited at Sou Sou West, Symondsbury and part of the Summer Exhibition at Artizan Gallery, Torquay.

The project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund with additional public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
‘Like the Sea Itself’ launched as a distinct brand in the summer to showcase my work directly influenced by the sea, particularly the driftwood jewellery range made using the Shou Sugi Ban Japanese technique. It has been truly heartening to be able to reconnect with the residents in the care homes and supported living homes where I deliver regular art clubs, making autumnal work and happily losing ourselves in the process of painting!
Looking ahead to Winter I am taking part in the Female Makers Christmas Pop-Up Market at the LSI Bridport on Friday 3rd (4pm – 8pm) and Saturday 4th December (all day), which is raising vital funds for Women’s Aid. I am also making Giclee prints of my paintings available – if you are interested in one of these please get in touch – and, exciting final news, am working on a solo exhibition for Spring 2022.
